Doug Stone

Doug Stone found his mark in music as a lonesome baritone balladeer, although he was very adept at hard-up-tempo country. Doug began at age five learning guitar from his mother an avid singer and guitarist. At age seven he was given the opportunity, by his mother, to open for Loretta Lynn. Life presented Doug a drastic change with the divorce of his mother and father. Doug, as result, moved in with his dad. As his youthful years past, Doug played at skating rinks, local bars or any money making project to help his father make ends meet. In the daytime Doug worked as a mechanic, something else that came to him naturally.

Doug had already past the age of 30 when a Nashville manager paired him up with Epic, his first record label. He debuted in 1990 with the single, “I’d Be Better Off (In a Pine Box),” the first release from his 1990 self-titled debuted album “Doug Stone” for Epic records. This album produced a handful of chart-topping singles. Following these songs was his first number one, “In a Different Light”. In addition, the single was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Song. Both this album and its successor, 1991’s I Thought It Was You, earned a platinum certification from The Recording Industry Association of America for U.S. shipments of one million copies. Two more albums for Epic, 1992’s From The Heart and 1994’s More Love, were each certified gold. Stone has charted –twenty-two singles on Hot Country Songs, with his greatest chart success coming between 1990 and 1995. In this time span, he charted eight Number Ones including: “In a Different Light”, “A Jukebox and a Country Song”, “Too Busy Being in Love”, “Addicted to a Dollar", and “Why Didn’t I think of That” to name a few, plus fifteen more Top Five singles.

In early 1992, Stone found that one of the arteries in his heart was almost entirely blocked. He underwent quadruple bypass surgery and took time off to recover, just as his third album, “From the Heart,” was released. With a gold certification for shipments of 500,000 copies, “From the Heart” included two Number Ones among its four singles: “Too Busy Being in Love” and “Why Didn’t I Think of That.” The other two singles were “Warning Labels” and “Made for Lovin’ You,” at No. 4 and No.6 respectively. One month later Stone released an album titled “The First Christmas.”

In June 1994 Stone discovered that he was having breathing problems, which were affecting his singing. Doctors at Vanderbilt University’s medical center failed to find any problems in his throat. A second consultation revealed a lump in his nostril but amazingly it was not cancerous. While Stone was undergoing treatment, his Greatest Hits, Vol.1 compilation was released in late 1994.This album included the new song “Little Houses", which debuted on the charts in October 1994 and peaked at No. 7 in early 1995.

Stone made his acting debut in the 1995 film “Gordy.” “Gordy,” a heartwarming story featured Doug as Luke McAllister, a struggling musician. Gordy paved the way for stone’s acting career and as well featured several of his songs. In 2011 Doug moved on to another movie role, “When the Storm God Rides,” a Thomas E. Kelly film.

Always the adventurer, in 2000 Doug suffered a broken ankle and a cracked rib after crashing his ultra-light plane in Robertson County, TN. An experience that would put him back in the studio recording the self-inspired single “Caught Dead Living”, based off of Doug’s “larger than life personality”, and love for living life to its fullest.

In April 2012 Doug Stone hit the road again bringing this hits to venues and fans around the country.  It also inspired him to go back and pull out all the demo sessions he had recorded over the previous 20 years and in 2014 he released the album “Doug Stone ‘The Demo’s’: 20 Years of Life”.

Now in 2025- 35 years, 8 #1 singles, 15 top 10 singles, and over 10 Million album sales later, the singer of timeless country hits like “A Jukebox with a Country Song” & “In a Different Light” is still running the roads performing to dedicated fans all across the nation. Sharing his testimony of a close relationship with the Lord after several years of alcohol abuse, a nearly 8 years sober Stone is at the top of his game once again. With a new acoustic project of re-recorded hits slated for release in 2022, Doug Stone continues to produce pure country gold.

Seals and Croft 2

Join Brady Seals & Lua Crofts on tour rekindling the musical fire started by Brady's multi-platinum selling cousin, Jim Seals and Lua's father, Dash Crofts, of Seals & Crofts.

Experience the music of '70s rock duo Seals & Crofts in a whole new way. Hear the hits “Summer Breeze,” “Diamond Girl,” and “We May Never Pass This Way (Again),” artfully re-imagined with a reverent nod to the past. Seals & Crofts 2, comprised of Brady Seals (cousin to James “Jim” Seals) and Lua Crofts (daughter of Darrell “Dash” Crofts) will dazzle you on their debut album. The project will feature many popular Seals & Crofts classics, as well as new songs from Seals & Crofts 2.

Singer/songwriter/artist Brady Seals has a pedigree for success. You could say that music is “in his blood,” as he is related to numerous industry heavyweights that include Jimmy Seals (Seals & Crofts), as well as Dan Seals (England Dan & John Ford Coley), and Troy Seals (Songwriting Hall of Fame Member).

Throughout his career, Brady has sold over 11 million albums and Brady Seals is probably best known for his tenure in the 1990s as keyboardist and co-lead singer in the Grammy-nominated group Little Texas. Seals co-wrote three consecutive #1 songs for the band (“What Might Have Been,” “God Blessed Texas,” and “My Love”) winning him ASCAP’s Triple Play award.

In 1996 Seals pursued a solo career, collaborating with the legendary Rodney Crowell to co-produce his Warner Brothers album, The Truth. It features a duet with Wynonna Judd, “Another You, Another Me” that sold over 100,000 singles. A self-titled CD followed in 1998 with guest appearances by Vince Gill, Ricky Skaggs, Timothy B. Schmidt (The Eagles), Bela Fleck, and Max Carl (.38 Special).

Seals returned to his band roots and formed Hot Apple Pie in 2002. The band quickly made history when they became the highest-selling debut country group in the Neilson Soundscan era. Their entry single “Hillbillies Love it in the Hay” went Top 20. The video shot to #1 on VH-1 Country and was among CMT’s “Top 20 Sexiest Videos.”

In 2022 Seals signed with SM1 Music Group/Universal Music to release a brand-new musical project that he's been working on for years. Brady's first single, "I'd Really Love To See You Tonight" features John Ford Coley and Lua Crofts.

Talented and soulful vocalist Lua Crofts comes from the '70s era of rock royalty. The daughter of Dash Crofts of the hugely popular '70s duo Seals & Crofts, performers of such hits as “Summer Breeze”, “Get Closer”, and “Diamond Girl”, grew up in Los Angeles California right smack dab in the middle of the '70s and '80s music industry.

Deciding to follow in her father’s footsteps, her first experience as a session singer was at the tender age of 7 years old when she accompanied both her mother and father on a song that would

be featured on a popular children’s album. She would go on to become an in-demand session singer throughout the ’90s and early 2000’s in the Los Angeles area, singing background vocals on many popular R&B albums for artists like Rahsaan Patterson (MCA), Tevin Campbell (Qwest), Shanice Wilson (LaFace Records), Ray J (East West Records), Tamia Washington (Elektra Records) and many more. She was also featured on the smooth jazz track “Better Days” off of the legendary Producer/Guitar player Louie Shelton’s 1998 Jazz album “Hot & Spicy”.

In ‘96 she toured the world as a background vocalist for Rahsaan Patterson’s self-titled album tour and again for his ’99 “Love In Stereo” album tour. She also traveled with Brady Seals for his ‘97 solo album tour, “The Truth” and it is here that Lua and Brady first worked together musically.

She currently lives in Nashville Tennessee with her husband and children, continues to do studio session work, and sings/tours with the famous Nashville Gospel Choir, Eric Dozier and Friends.

Gentlemen South

Gentlemen South

Opening for The Dan Tyminski Band at The State Fair of Virginia.

A band of Brothers, literally. Justin and Stephen Peery’s harmonic blend leave no question that music and singing runs in the Family. From a young age Justin stood stage side and watch his father and uncles perform as the Country Music group Mountain Thunder, of which Stephen also played the keys. Many years later, it’s their turn. Gentlemen South encompasses both Justin and Stephen’s unique Lyrical and Musical styles that produces their unforgettable music. Not to mention they are natural born entertainers.

Coming from Gospel backgrounds where both brothers grew up in Southern Churches mixed with a little country from the soul, and a dash of The Blues, its the recipe for what becomes Gentlemen South. Paired that with their talent stacked full band and back up vocals including their Dad and hang on for one heck of a show.

Currently the Duo is in the Studio working on their first major project with some amazing original songs that come from the heart. Its songs that we all can relate to and that’s why we believe you will gravitate to Gentlemen South as much as The Virginia Opry has since their induction in 2019.

The Kentucky Head Hunters

The Kentucky Head Hunters

Nashville has hardly been the same since the Kentucky Headhunters took it by storm in 1990. A country act–in the loosest sense of the term–the Headhunters’ hard-driving music ranges far afield into boogie, old-style rock ‘n roll, and white-boy electric guitar blues. The result is as rowdy and woolly as the singers themselves–a guitar-charged stomping sound variously described as “psycha-billy” and “hillbilly speed metal”.

Bill Pinkney's Original Drifters

Like fine art, great music stays with us through theyears to enjoy and to share.

“The best act of its genre on the music scene today,” the Bill Pinkney legacy group still reflects the entire Legendary Drifters presencein the music industry and weaves a blend of nostalgic magic and on-stage excitement with a 21st Century twist. Today’s sophisticated andinformed music lovers reject generic imitations, and, accordingly, The Original Drifters® remain in demand.

Music’s Drifters represent more than the story of a single group’s success. Changes in personnel and management have led over the years to the sprouting of many Drifters permutations, but BILL PINKNEY used the name / mark THE ORIGINAL DRIFTERS® since the 1950s, and his legacy continues. Organizer Clyde McPhatter, BILL PINKNEY ), and Gerhart and Andrew Thrasher met while singing gospel. When Atlantic Records rejected McPhatter’s first offering of singers, these men joined forces, signed with the company, and established in 1953 the foundation upon which a music legacy was subsequently built.

Thirty five years later in 1988, originals MCPHATTER, PINKNEY, GERHART THRASHER and four later Drifters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which filmed PINKNEY’s oral history in 2001 for its Legends Series.
